Am, because of thee, am tradition of abolition, abolitionism that informs black writing. So one way to think about ow, how does she contort herself to get out of this m is to think about am. How might the goals of black wriding shift if it's no longer about truth and revelation and more about a misrecognition? It means that she can't contradict herself.
