Is Lukashenko a Pariah in Europe?
With China attempting to smooth relations with Europe largely via trade, how is the EU bound to view this warming relationship with a man known as Europe's last dictator? Unfortunately now I don't really think it's the last one, at least if you count Russia as being in Europe, which geographically it is. No, this is bound to be viewed negatively. There's no question about it. The flip side to that is I don'tReally think relations can get much worse than they already were. Lukashenko doesn't have much to lose. He's already being treated pretty much the same as Russia's being treated. So he probably needs to go and search for friends else.
