The Importance of Absolute Knowledge
Van Till: The fallen mind's normal mode of operation is to presume that comprehensive knowledge exists or is possessed in order to function at all. He says the non-theistic mind must set for itself the ideal of absolutely comprehensive knowledge as long as it has not become fully conscious of its own thought. Van Till: But what I think Van Till is doing here, and correct me if I'm wrong, is he's kind of walking through a series of fallen, sinful, rationalist presuppositions that the non-Christian posits in order to get the knowing enterprise off the ground.
