Peter's Story of the Battle of Algiers

Peter was training as a solicitor in Lancaster when World War II began. He joined the army and became a second lieutenant. In November 1942, Peter was sent to North Africa by sea from Scotland. The ship he was travelling on was torpedoed - killing many of its passengers. But Peter survived to share his incredible testimony.
