Is This a Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Blend?
There is a little bit more earthiness on a palate than I picked up on a nose. It's more composty, not quite dirty or animalistic by any means. The quality of oak is really going to make or break my call on this wine because I feel like it's very well integrated. There is a fair amount of New Oak on this wine but it's great quality. This is just so beautifully integrated. My final conclusion or this is a Cabernet Sauvignon blend from France, from Bordeaux, from the left bank.
