The Stuka Force in the Battle of Britain
The Stuka was withdrawn from the Battle of Britain in August. But it wasn't due to unacceptable losses, says Barbara Rosser. The bigger picture was that there were preparations for a cross-channel invasion. So they were all moved Lockstalk and Barrow on about the 20th of August up to the Parda Calais area. And by early September, 7th of September - now we're changing their tactics.
