The Challenges in Leadership as a White Woman

The challenges in my current role are around staff interactions and around my role as a white woman leading a team of people of color and reporting to a white man. I am challenged in bridging the gap between the folks that report to me and the folks that I report to especially in that we're serving a community that is almost exclusively black and brown. "I just generally have a sense of myself that I can do anything that I decide to do," she says.
