The Anti-Nazi League
There is a style of politics, though, that demands the sort of total agreement. And it's not new; I remember being involved in Brighton where I lived. There was a big tradition of the National Front in Brighton and the British National Party. The anti-Nazi League wanted to take a position on Britain's membership with NATO. But they didn't think we were having a seminar on geopolitical relationships or collective defence organisations. So I left. That kind of politics is very prevalent. And I'm sure it's prevalent on the right. ...I've never been on the right, so don't know. It's very prevalent and always has been prevalent on the left."
