Ep161 – Steve Baxter (Partner – TEN13 VC) on capability, competitors & investing
The Startup Playbook Podcast
The Hard One Story of Taking Trips
There was a whole bunch of people doing roll-ups. They were bending in those businesses with stock in the head code, typical sort of roll-up stuff. And so a lot of these things fell out of it. We start pipe networks and for the first six or eight months, probably a year and a half pipe network. So it was a bit tough. All businesses, revenue expectation never come through. I'm not a stock broker. Don't take this advice. But back to the bridge. Well, I was actually just going to follow that up with a question, which was, you just mentioned that at the time a lot of people that were being acquired were taking trips.
