Folk understanding of freedom is really a mixed bag. It can sometimes look like incompatibleism, but the same person in a different situation can also completely have a deterministic view. In compatiblisic understanding a freedom that can sometimes have a categorical understanding, sometimes a conditional understanding. You have to contend with that if you're going to hold to theistic determinism on any subject.
