The History of the Indus Valley

The Indus Valley civilisation was based around the Induspere which is like a spinal cord running right through the modern day country of Pakistan. We have evidence of a kind of script emerging in the Indus Valley during the 3rd millennium BCE but much like the Elamite cuneiform scriptures we have yet to be able to translate this successfully. Due to the fact that we cannot translate this script it is also impossible for us to categorically say that it is a writing system although it is difficult for us to suggest anything other than it having an understood meaning. It is one of those many beautiful historical mysteries that our world contains.
