i'm wondering if there is something in your background that makes you seek out the hard things. I when i went a to college, i started off thinking i wanted to be an engineer but ended up being a mathan stats major. And my interests have always been in application of things, yes, opposed to im doing it for the sake of doing it. When i took my first job as a consultant, i loved the application of programming mass statistics to am real problems that we were trying to solve. So don't know if i answered your question, but, ye, no, no.
