Chris Columbus has been asked what he thought of a rebooted Home Alone, which he says would not be a good idea. One idea that they had before embarking on this undistinguished string of spin-offs was to have Marv star as a... have his own series. Probably cause they couldn't get Pesci back for more than two. The 1995 Daniel Stern movie began life as a potential Marv spin-off with Marv being framed for murder after giving up his life of crime. This was eventually tweaked to be a delivery guy on the run, also after being frames for murder.
