The Importance of Bringing Up Objections
It's always a good idea to bring up objections before they arise and talk about them. We've had quite deep philosophical discussions with groups of 10 patients about where is my pain coming from? Why do I worry about my pain? For example, when we use the balloon and pin, it's really, I suppose, in one sense, cognitive behavioral therapy in action. And again, coming back to experience, it's always helping your patients try and question their experience and stuff, what's happening.
