Eisler says that not only does it kind of refer to female anatomy but it's actually if you think about a chalice being a cup that you would drink from. The Minoans thrived during the Middle Kingdom in Egypt like a few hundred years after the pyramids were built. It's also late enough in history that they did have a written record but just infuriatingly no one has been able to crack the code yet.
