The Big Myth of Testosterone and Prostate Cancer

The most common side effect of testosterone therapy is the secondary rithrosatosis, which is an increase in red blood cells. It's often described though by the patient or family doctor as thick blood, blood donation or phlebotomy because if they don't, they fear it could possibly lead to a heart attack strike. Polysothemia vera cannot be extrapolated to elevated hematocrits seen during testosterone therapy. Those abnormalities do not occur in the secondary thrombosis from testosterone therapy.
