Climate Change - Why Is This Happening?
There are quite a few independents challenging liberal seats in the upcoming election. What has prompted this rush of challengers on liberal held seats? Well, there's a number of reasons, and most of them have to do with the current policy approach of the federal government. The coalition has established itself over the past few years as a global climate laggard. Climate change clearly is a big factor here, but what are the other policy issues that are motivating these independents? Mike: Those are the three main things, climate integrity, gender equity, safety of women and representation.
