The Importance of Minimum and Maximum Weight in F1

The cars all need to achieve a minimum weight. There is no maximum weight in 2023, the car without fuel must weigh no less than 796 kilograms and that's 1754 pounds. The drivers themselves, all the race kit and the race seat - it must weigh at least 80 kilograms or 176 pounds. Their physio are spending a lot of time with them to try and make sure that that weight is within the correct bond for them.
