Moons Orbiting Rogue Planets Could Be Habitable
Astronomers suspect that there are billions of rogue planets floating freely across the Milky Way. Because these planets don't have a star you think they would be completely cold and inhospitable no place for life. But according to a new paper that's not true. There could be life there. Not on the planets themselves but on their moons. The one thing to note though is that the tidal interactions do slow down over time.
