Persuasion and the Rhetoric
Rhetoric reminded me how tactical the rhetoric is, especially with the end themes and stuff. I found myself objecting a little bit to ixsor of his broad characterizations of greek and chinese. That's the way i think you would end up taking the rhetoric really seriously about trying to deploy the techniques explicitly to be more persuasive.
