Employees ranked social recognition as most important, 42% before low monetary recognition and infrequent high monetary recognition. 52% of employees say feeling recognized for their work would reduce the negative impact of a salary freeze. Two thirds of respondents say that feeling recognized reduces their desire to job hunt.
