Bazes is a way to build Bayesian models using probability theory. It's not just the whole frequency world is an all doing black box bootstrap. The first time I saw a mixture model fit, I'm like, how in the world did it do this? And mainly when I'm teaching people how to code models, I'm trying to get them to stop trying to control things themselves and just write down how they think the data came about.
