I ran across something that indicated that maybe you discovered when mars lost the a global magnetic field. How did you pin that down? And do i have that right? Ah, yes. There there had been estimates of it before i did my thesis. One of the main results was that i made a map of the crustal magnetic field of mars,. using a technique known as electron reflectometry. I worked with colleagues who were experts in crater age dating on mars.
