Nosperato
The film is a little bit more modern in its language of the film making, even though it's german expressionism. The way shadows are used in relation to the vampire, they sort of go beyond stylization. Ithatther's this incredibly sinister suggestion that he's not casting a shadow, he has, in fact, become the shadow. And i just love the way that all of that looks, and the way that that story is told visually with moments like that.
