Theo, How Did the Onboarding Process Work for You?
Theo: I knew some very basic Elixir that I had taught myself just through using exorcisms and sort of talking to my peers that we're using the language. But onboarding itself was a full straight month of pairing one on one with our intern at the time who had no experience of Elixir. And we actually built a project completely from scratch, which was the wordle game that I demoed at Elixir Comp this year. So it's kind of good to know is that a more junior engineer, these methods might sort of need to change over time for me to get the most out of them.
