Dementia Village - The Whole Her Bag
Dementia village is a different model for where people might live when they have dementia. Jeanette Speering used to work at a more traditional nursing home back in the 1990s. She was looking around and hearing from patients and families that things weren't that good. In 1993, she decided to try and retrofit a nursing home to be more like a set of apartments.
