The Fed's Policy on High Interest Rates

Benjamin Graham: It's hard to criticize the Fed, because they have an inflation. They've been clear that they're willing to basically let there be some pain in the economy in order to eliminate it. But given their stated focus of controlling inflation, they probably don't want to do that. He says we'll suffer through next seven months as we wait for the Fed essentially to have line of sight to a lower inflation environment.
