The Pathological Cases of Blame
David Frum: Communicative blame is a really everyday phenomenon, but quite often it's kind of bypassed because if you're in a community where people have shared values, you can skip over the blame. Whether we notice blame and it's appropriateness or not depends a lot on what the moral circle is that we're living in at that moment. He says there are other forms of pathology which are less intrinsic, but just as interesting. If I am communicating my blame to you, he writes, "I'm trying to remold you to get you to see things my way"
