How to Use MR Over Diagnostic Ultrasound to Treat Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy
The diagnostic accuracy between the two is reasonably comparable in terms of cuff tears and that's what we're looking at more so but I guess if there's uncertainty after clinical examination an ultrasound scan might be a little bit questionable too. And do you think that's because it gives a reliance the patient looks at the MR result and then they're concerned that they've got a maybe a slap tear or rotator cuff tendinopathy. For me it's rational behavior if you do a scan and you show a person there they have a tear of their rotator cuff why would they then engage with physiotherapy?
