The Importance of Communication in a Conversation
Jean: Would you blame your own lack of having brought up the deposit when you made the offer on the fact that you were in the middle of a medical emergency? If not, I completely understand because it was my fault for not telling you about it in the first place. We would be thinking about having that discussion in a way that acknowledged my participation in the gray areas and the lack of communication. But I wouldn't try to excuse my own bad behavior.
