The Brain Is Nothing More Than the Sum of Its Parts
If you believe the brain is nothing more than the sum of its parts, is it fair to say we can one day recreate not just artificial intelligence but artificial consciousness? We would need to define consciousness first in order to answer that question. But I am very much in camp. Yes, we are just a sum of all of our parts. In theory, you should be able to replicate the parts that we have. We just have no idea how to do that right now.
