The Born Rule in Quantum Mechanics
The only way that you will get the born rule is through a process of quantum relaxation. There are corrections to that approximation that come from the underlying quantum gravitational equations. Some of them are Hermitian, as usually expected, but some of them are non-Hermitian. It's hard to make sense of that in standard quantum mechanics.
