Our high priest is able to encourage us by being unique qualified to save us completely. I just know of no other truth that is more intrinsically encouraging than that. His perfection has to do with his priesthood. He was made perfect precisely because he died on our behalf and became the perfect mediator. Let us pray how spectacularly wonderful, not only that you should save us by the gift of your son, but that you should go to such pains to increase our faith... In jesus name, amen.
