The Importance of Downloading the CBP-1 App

Asylum seekers need to use the CBP-1 app to interact with border enforcement. They've been detained in between two walls and an open field where there isn't any electricity. With no way to charge their phones, they couldn't make asylum claims. It's not clear if making them would have helped, as it seems that they were already being detained. The only way to get clean was with wet wipes, and there was only warm bathroom. There was no shade or shelter either, and the only way people could construct shelters were through tying tarps to the border wall itself.
