The Disowned Doctrine of Discovery

It's been a while since the Pope had any divisions or any ability to even be a broker between secular authorities. The closest thing is Francis, because he's Argentinian, which means he's basically Italian, but still, you know, not technically from there. And I don't think we might never get another Italian pope, depending on how they wanna try to keep the papacy relevant.
