i'm agnostic on the issue of free will, i do, i'm enough of a determinist to say that by and large, there but for the grace of god go i. By definition, anyone who does anything bad has got the state of the brain that they had to have to cause them to do it. And maybe therefore it wasn't their fault, because they found themselves with that brain state. It's just another evolved thing that came in handy, this intuition that that people who do bad thing should be punished. I think we should be sceptical of it, i think.
