I love your account of the slave societies and their intimate integration into the proprietary ideology. I wanted to ask you, it's almost a, it may be an impossible chicken and egg question but it's about slavery as a vital ingredient of modern proprietary and ideology. That is, do you see slavery as a necessary is it a necessary component that makes those ideologies go into place or rather does the existence of those ideologies enable slavery to arise in the extreme forms that you see in the slave societies?
