I Was a Newbie in New York
I remember a wedding and I was with Annie Denver, the widow of John Denver at this wedding in Washington. She was wearing this white piquet suit and she's petite. And I looked up in this sort of goddess-like, blonde creature came over in the same suit but she made the rest of us look like chopped liver. That was the Michaelis wedding. Yes, it was. Well, Charlotte had just really had come to New York to see her new apartment,. She was the appointed CEO of Ogilvy May. The men who reported to me were shocked to find themselves reporting to a woman. But later we proved to do quite a good job together.
