Talking Heads: One in a Lifetime
The 1977 single Psycho Killer, with its incongruous French and nonsense lyrics, got Talking Heads onto the Hot 100 for the first time in February 1978. The song's percolating Tina Waimuth bassline was sampled very memorably on Selena Gomez's acclaimed 2017 Top 20 Hit Bad Liar. It is Talking Heads' all-time most streamed track, with 301 million lifetime streams over 100 million more than any other contender.
