Introduction
Bankruptcy is a legal court proceeding where you tell the judge you can't pay your debts any more. According to the united states courts, from 20 16 through 20 23, point five million people filed for non business bankruptcy in five years. In 20 21, thanks to the long list of government aids since the pandemic, like the multiple stimulus checks, child tax credits, paws on evictions and extended student loan relief, the number of folks filing for bankruptcy is down to the lowest numbers since 19 85. But according to one bankruptcy expert i talk to it could mean that a tidal wave of bankruptcies is on the way.
