The Bees and the Toilet

You were stung over a thousand times, they tell you. The sheer amount of necrotic cells that have worked their way into your bloodstream have clogged your body's filtration system. Without intervention, your kidneys will fail. A dialysis machine pulls your toxic blood out of you and puts clean blood back in. At night, you dream of falling endlessly with an ever-expanding cloud of ink spreading above you. You land in a river of insects and wake up spitting and coughing the next morning.
