How to Build a Freestanding Double Spiral Staircase?
The name of Mr Roshas also appears in an 1881 daybook or account book of the Sisters of Loretto at Nairanks, Kentucky. Mary Cook believes that she's learned the specific details of how the staircase parts got from France to Santa Fe. The French carpenter's she spoke with all agreed that would have been a reasonable scenario. It may have been paid for when it was purchased, perhaps by Archbishop Jean-Baptiste Lemie in France.

A group of nuns in Santa Fe, New Mexico in the late 1800s needed a special staircase built for their chapel, so they prayed a novena and a mysterious workman came and built it. Jimmy Akin and Dom Bettinelli discuss what makes the spiral staircase special, who built it, and whether it could have been St. Joseph himself.
