The Impossibility of Giving Up

I think that a part of me would have been hoping as a stunt journalist that the dog would poop just for the story. I ended up just trying to go to sleep on... We do have a little wood floor. So I went on the wood floor just with a sheet and my pillowcases, I couldn't use a pillow. And I tried to sleep there for about an hour and I kind of gave up and went to bed.
