How Much of It Were You Writing During the Pandemic?
Lake: I had a book contract before the pandemic hit, but there wasn't a ment to submit a manuscript until january. So i had some time to kind of to sit backand see how the pandemic was altering the political environment. And in fact, did a different book. It focused exclusively on the pandemic that we published before this one came out. But then i kind of adapted some of that material and and and really changed this book as a result on the substance of the argument or the substance ofthe book.
