The Stoics would have liked the idea of, or found agreement with the concept of a higher power. I like how much our church helps other people and they've helped us too. The idea that you need to build that second nature in your character is not so difficult to accommodate to all sorts of religious beliefs. It's like we have some work to do on ourselves participating in this larger system.
