The Decline of the Participation Rate for Older Americans

The participation rate for people 65 years and over is 23.6%. That's as of April, it was 26%. 26%. So that gives you a sense of the decline in participation by older Americans. The trend should be steadily rising because all those boomers coming into that age cohort. And we just expect people 70 to 75 to have higher participation rates conditional on how many of them are in the economy.
