A new Dodger Stadium in Brooklyn was basically impossible. Robert Moses not only didn't like spectator sports, he thought that spectator sports were a total waste of time and for what he called the rubes. O'Malley figured if he couldn't get his dream stadium in Brooklyn, he might as well move the Dodgers all the way out to California. He doesn't really know where he wants to build the stadium; he's scouting it out.
