Should You Republish a Book of Essays?
Author norman mayler's work is, hisself, very problematic through the lens of 20 22. He exists in a sort of a gated community of o a literary lights that no one has quite deemed necessary or fit to cancel over the past several years. It doesn't really seem like anything of significance was lost by not publishing it. I think this is probably a financial decision on their whether not that they ere going to lose money, but that whatever stood to be lost by opening the doors to this conversation outweighed what stood to be gained.
