The Importance of Pitches

I hate the fact that teams focus on innings and not pitches. I think what really it should be is a calculation of stressful pitches. And seeing also at any sign of fatigue as the season goes on, that's when they pull it. But sometimes you see like Alkmanoa go 190 innings after throwing 118 or something. It's why don't we see 215 ending pitchers anymore, right? 208 pitchers. So yeah, AlkmanOA, I hope he comes back and is better, but I don't have much faith right now.
