Is There a Benign Dictator in History?
I don't think there's a benign dictator in history. Can you think of one? That is, all the leaders that I can think of who have had something close to what Lord Acton would call absolute power were corrupted beyond words. Is there an exception? Am I suffering from confirmation bias here?
